I'm Caroline - a Scottish UK artist. For the last 7 years I have been living in the desert of the Middle East, in a beautiful place called Al Ain, in the United Arab Emirates. 

chocolatesiamese.com is a gallery of my watercolour artwork. Art has become my lifelong passion. I have been painting for as long as I can remember and later on in life I studied for a BA (Hons) Degree in Fine Art at college. In watercolours, I have found the perfect medium for expressing the individuality, character and beauty of the animals I love and cherish. I adore all animals, but especially cats. Much of the inspiration for my artwork has come from the many cats I have owned over the years. 

Prior to moving to the Middle East, my artwork had been mostly watercolour based, but recently I have been influenced by the wonderful arabic culture and the desert and I have found myself creating large acrylic abstract paintings inspired by the endless red sand dunes that surround my home. I still love to paint cats, dogs and horses, but now I also paint portraits of camels and falcons too!
